The Wollemi Pine was released in Australia on April 1 2006 and a range of sizes are now available from 230+ stockists across the country.

US/Canada
A limited number of first release Wollemi Pines are now available via the National Geographic Holiday Catalog (888-225-5647) and online for US based customers. Proceeds from the sale of the Pine will support National Geographic mission programs, including support for botanical research and studies. It is anticipated that availability in Canada will commence in 2007.

UK
A series of limited edition Wollemi Pines have been released in the UK with significant royalties going to the Royal Botanic Gardens (RBG) Kew. A donation to RBG Kew was made for every Wollemi Pine sold in 2006 by Kernock Plants (the sole licensed grower of the Wollemi Pine in the UK).

The application for the importation of the Wollemi Pine by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) is progressing and Pines are expected to be available in 2007/2008.
