Landcare groups Wollemi giveaway
..............................
As a special offer of thanks for Landcare, Junior Landcare and Coastcare Groups this Christmas, Landcare Australia are offering every group registered on the National Landcare/Coastcare Directory a ‘dinosaur tree’ – the renowned Wollemi pine that was once thought to be extinct.

Wollemi pine in pot

The Wollemi pine is one of the world’s oldest and rarest trees – fewer than 100 exist today in the wild. The successful cultivation of the Wollemi pine is a great success story for Australia, and a fitting thank you to all the Landcare and Coastcare groups.

In the spirit of Landcare, each Wollemi pine should be used for public display, planting on a project site, to assist in the promotion of their project or encouraging new members to join.
Visit the Landcare online website to find your local contact and nearest pick-up point for your tree.

Search the Wollemi pine website for care and planting instructions for this hardy tree and to find out other interesting facts about the Wollemi pine.

To ensure your group is registered or to sign up, check the National Landcare Directory.

This offer is available only while local stocks last.
