The Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney (RBG) has been involved in researching the Wollemi Pine since it was discovered in 1994.
The propagation and worldwide release of the Wollemi Pine was identified as a key conservation strategy by RBG.
There are a number of Wollemi Pines on display in Botanical Gardens across Australia.
